Believe what you like, but the fact is pH strips are notoriously inaccurate, especially the way most soapers use them. You can confirm this by comparing the strip results with a properly calibrated pH meter. Strips typically show a pH reading is lower than what the pH really is.

I think the person who formulated this bar took some time to get a nice balance of Soap Quality Values. Thanks for sharing. To anyone who tries this, please remember to rinse thoroughly with increasingly cool water to close the hair shaft and get all the soap residue out. Follow up with an ACV, Lemon Juice, Beer, or other rinse to restore the acid balance of the scalp.
