I received a free sample of Annatto Seeds recently but I cannot find any information on how to use it. Any information will be appreciated.

I infuse annatto seeds in olive oil and use it as a natural colorant.

Also note, info in the comments section of the first post suggest that grinding annatto seeds can give a barn red colored soap that leaves hands (and presumably washcloths, tubs, etc) iodine colored. Kind of interesting!
