So I decided to read the labels on the on the Soaps I have at home(store brought)

Let me preface this by saying I'm vegan and blind to alot!

One of my old favorites, which I 6 bars of is made with Tallow! I never knew that or what that was because it's listed as "Sodium Tallowate" smh

I am more determined than ever to get this right

Yes, tallow and lard are common ingredients in commercial soap. Once saponified, they become sodium tallowate and sodium lardate.

I learned all this recently, lol I was just focused on vegan stuff. That's what happens when you don't research what you buy.
