Educate me please. Does anyone make an alpha-hydroxy lotion? What are te benefits? I have had a customer requset it.

Ok, so in my 1st google attempt I find that Glycolic acid, citric acid and lactic (milk) acid are forms of alpha-hydroxy. Is this for real?

alpha-hydroxy aka AHA is indeed what you have googled. The most commonly used is Glycolic Acid which is a mild skin peeling chemical and is also use for skin lightening.

I use up to 10% for toner and cleanser and around 5% for lotion.

Hope that helps

Alpha-hydroxy acids can fill wrinkles, add fat to the skin and smooth skin texture. The combination of these changes on the surface of the skin results in skin.hydroxy younger, healthier can reduce oil production, promote pre-production of cells and rapid cell turnover and promote the development of healthy skin.
