Can I put crushed almonds in an Almond soap I am making? I thought it would be a good exfoliator like oatmeal but wondered if it would spoil?

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!

i have, never would again. scratchy as hell and no benefit whatsoever. unless you can crush it to a fine powder, i would skip it.

I've used almond meal. Very soft texture, gives a little visual appeal and not scratchy to me at all.

I've never heard of Almond meal...can I make it myself?

I just remember buying an almond soap a long time ago and seem to remember it had the look of almonds in it but it wasn't scratchy.

I bought some almond meal online. It's very fine and I'm sure will be small enough to not be scratchy. You know what they say....size matters!

I used almonds in my soap and have not had a problem. I put them in the food processor and grind them up to almost powder and they are wonderful.

All Almond Meal is, is crushing almonds to a fine powder. I put mine in a coffee grinder that came with the bamix and mix until it becomes like a dust.

Thanks all!!!!! I think I'll order some to see what it looks like and then try and make my own. Can't wait...I love the smell of Almond!
