Hi there! I'm brand new to this soap making world, and I'm loving it! I've been trying to find a recipe for an almond soap (around 4# or so), but I can't find anything. It's the one recipe that has eluded me so far. Does anyone know where I can find one, or would be willing to share theirs with me?

Thanks so much in advance!

Sweet Almond oil does not have an almond fragrance. It is a base oil, not a fragrance oil.

You would need an almond fragrance.

CB - if you want an almond scented soap you can use your basic recipe and add Almond Fragrance Oil to it. You can also make a soap that is scented this way with Sweet Almond Oil in it - to create that I recommend that you play with SoapCalc to get your lye amounts.

Do you know what a lye calculator is? Type 'soapcalc' into your browser and it will take you to one. With that you can create your own recipe according to your size mold.

You can get almond type fragrance oils at any soap suppliers. Where abouts are you? Maybe some members that are near you can recommend who they get their supplies for.
There are many variations on almond fragrances, almond biscotti is delicious!

Use any of the recipes you already have - simply add your almond fragrance.
