Sometimes I need more lather and I want to add sugar to the batch in rebatching process.Still I am afraid of doing that. Can I add sugar while rebatching? And what must I do to add sugar in that process?Should I add directly or do what?
Any help will be appreciated...

I guess I'm a little late with this answer...sorry. Anyway, you should add sugar to a liquid before adding to the batch. If you add it straight to the batch, it will be gritty. Just take enough water to dissolve the sugar and then add it to your batch.

If you ever want to add sugar to your regular batch, add it to your distilled water and dissolve before adding the lye to the water. If you add the sugar to the lye water, it will clump and not dissolve...ask me how I know
