a strange smell

Hi Everyone this is my first post . Can anyone help me i have just made a CP batch and have noticed that my lavender bar has a hint of eau de cod liver oil ?
I just can't figure it out, this is the second batch this has happened to . I've smelt my oils and they all smell fine as does the essential oil. The 2 batches this has happened to are also completely different formulas.

Any ideas anyone ?

what oils are you usin and are you sure the oils are not rank?

Rancid oils sometimes smell fine until they're soaped. If you didn't use any ingredients like kelp clay, it'd probably be best to get new oils.

avocado (crude)
jojoba (org)
shea (refined)
coconut ( virgin org)
palm
almond

i also used 2% lavender eo
