They are all fabulous- the swirl on the salt bar is great, and the colour on the choc oatmeal honey is so rich - but I especially love the Saskatoonberry. Love, love, love it!

So very pretty, the chocolate oatmeal honey is gorgeous!

Your soaps are awesome!! I *love* the one with the black dots throughout it. And the props you chose to display it with are perfect.

Hi and thank you for your comments. There is a little story behind the toonberry , the top is off a 3 layer that i messed up the lye water on, I was not no way ,no how, throwing the top away , so I cut it off and made 2 new layers, the bottom is shreds , and the berries are shredded soap rolled into berries( way to much time on my hands).I wanted a kind of a signature soap , salt bar and a solid lotion in saskatoon berry.I haven't hit the look I want yet , but I am sure having fun trying. the berries and shreds are colored with alkanet , it is a berry purple in real life.

I love playing with the soap, and seeing what I can do with it, ( just like the carving you did Lindy) Soap is a way cool medium IMHO.

Oh Kitn to have your patience!!!! I was thinking of trying a melon scoop to get some got dots like that and even that sounded like a whole lot of too much work - mind you if that is the effect - totally worth it.....and oh yeah soap adds a whole new level to art and creativity....

I just shredded a couple bars and put a tv tray or something on my lap and watch tv and make the berries. You don't have to make them all at once .I asked my dh if wanted to learn how to make berries, he just laughed at me.hmmmph , the darn cat is no help either..I can't just sit and watch tv , I have to be crocheting or something.
