good luck, amanda!

are you funneling again?

that color blue was really striking!

Well, I sorta funneled! the bottom half is Funneled! then it got thick on me! the top is kinda swirled! I did Pink and White scented with Baby Poweder FO. I'll post pics tomorrow when I unmold! I really think I just didn't mix it enough. This one firmed up like all my others.. I feel good about it. It's not the perfect funnel like the blue one was, but I think it will be cool in it's own way!!

I was just coming to post about my Zap!! I just checked it again and it's about 98% Zap free! So I"m just letting it chill on the shelf for a bit and see what happens! I actually cleaned off an entire book shelf in my front room and lined all the shelves with baskets and put my soaps in them and labeld them all as to what they are when they were made and when they will be cured for 4 weeks. I'm so proud of myself!

Well this is just "Craptastic". This batch is just a junker. I tried again to cut it today. It's still crumbly and Zaped the S%#* out of me. Clearly I eaither measured my lye wrong, my water wrong, didn't mix enough or all of the above. It was so sad to throw it out. I know I could have tried "re batching" but I would have lost the swirl, and as I understand it you rebatch in a crocpot and the only one I have at the moment is my good one for food. I will be getting a second had one soon! I guess everyone has to lose some to the learning curve! Thanks all for your input, I really did learn from this!!!
