krissy, I just ordered this software. I received a $100 rebate card in the mail from AT&T that we kind of forgot about, so hubby told me to go ahead and use it, YES!

Anyway, I ordered it this past Sat., haven't received the link to the download yet, so I can't tell you how great it is. Since my supply area is very mish-mosh in my laundry room, (I never know what I have) the idea of inventory tracking sounds very good to me.
It's gotten very good reviews, I'm excited to try it. Hopefully someone who uses it already will add their two cents. I'm all ears..eyes

Just ordered my Tank a week ago and they are 10 business days out on orders. So be prepared that it'll take a while to get to you. But from what I hear...the wait will be oh so worth it!

The idea of getting an extra $500 to spend is just thrilling! Lucky you!

I'd probably get the Soapmaker Software too. That will probably be my next splurge.

Why don't you treat yourself to some fabulous little gift? Something that isn't just business related? Something that made you go "Oooo, when I get a couple of extra bucks to spend, I'm going to get me one of those!!" Just because!

i get that with other money. this $500 gift is just for soapmaking stuff. i love soapmaking stuff though so it still feels like presents for me.

Anyway, talked to the guy (Woody?) and he made the fix. Too bad I'm at work and can't play till later, I'm excited.

I've never actually spoken to either of them (hub/wife team) but they have been very helpful to me via email. And she (woodi username?) is a member of this forum, but I haven't seen her post in eons!
When I first got mine - back when they were still on version 2.x, I printed out the entire index - it's been very helpful. You shouldn't have to print it though - unless you are like me and want something tangible in front of you when you are playing without having to click a different link.
For every update, I just pring the update notes and replace them. (because it prints out every update in descending order)
I love it.
And I don't have to use a seperate lye calc either - there's one built right in.

DH says i have to think about what i need vs want and how it can go towards my soap making best. i knowi am going to spend some money on the software and the tank, though DH's friend said he could make me a tank... so maybe on a soap cutter like the tank. i also want to do some stuff with settingup insurence and liscencing.

Good decision to wait and really make sure you know what you need. I'm looking forward to hearing what you eventually get. I have to live vicariously through other soapers now.
