All I can say is that it has a certain smell to it. I understand that it's not supposed to, but this one DOES. I have a very sensitive nose though, so some people may not even smell it.

Either way, I have virgin unrefined coconut oil on the way. I can't wait to soap with that!

Okay, so now I SO want to make a 100% coconut oil soap. I have a large supply (just went to Wal Mart and bought some cheap CO). Tomorrow when I go grocery shopping I'll have to get some coconut milk. Can't wait to try it!

Yeah, I'm tempted to try it, too. I've got a couple of cans of coconut milk in the cupboard. Hmm...

Oh dear - whatever shall I do on a snowy Sunday? hee hee

LOL Hazel! Wal-Mart actually just started carrying Coconut Milk (by Silk) in the half gallon size. I picked it up on a whim the other day. Glad I did!

SilverFox-

I wonder if the liquid CM would be better than canned. I picked up the canned awhile back intending to do a CM batch and then never got around to doing it.

You'll have to let us know how it turns out.

Hazel-

I have no idea lol. I made it on a whim. I have some frozen canned coconut milk (at my mom's house though. I haven't been over there lately.)

I'll try one out soon and report back!

I tried a bar last night. Serious lather! I'm gonna let them cure for a while and try again and see if there's even more lather!
