The only experience I have with Avocado oil in soap was using a coupple of tablespoons of leftover oil I had, and this was in the beginning of my soapy adventure. I use it a lot in my rubs and lipbalms, it is my #1 favourite oil. I still have 1 whole bar + trimmings left from that early batch, and it is so lovely, but I don`t know if that is because of the Avocado.
So I am wondering if this recipe look ok to you pro`s out there? The things I added in the recipe are oils I have on hand atm.
Am I missing anything, or should I make some adjustments to get it better?
I will add sugar to boost the bubbles, and I have some sodium lactate coming in the mail, so I may add that to the mix too, if not I will use salt and disolve it in the water with the sugar, before adding the lye.
I kept the SF at 5%, since it is low in cleansing and high in conditioning, going by soapcalc. Any advice on that?
Never soaped less than 5% before, I have soaped between 5-8%, but I think the sweetspot for me is around 6 or 7%.
Thanks for any advice you may have!
PS. We have medium hard water here.
