Cut Added - S'mores or whoopie pie

It's now in the fridge set to coldest setting and surrounded by bags of ice and cold soda! Lol Praying I don't get partial gel. First time trying to stop gel in the wooden mold.

It's amazing smelling so far. Made with chocolate coconut milk yogurt and hemp milk.
Added 2 oz unsweetened cocoa. And white is coconut scented. Topped with fresh ground coconut and sprinkles of cocoa powder.

Had to make two seperate batches at the same time which was not too bad considering milk was also involved. Actually had first instance of trace taking longer.. Like 4 min or so and then only very light.

Changed photo to cut bar.

That's a beautful soap batch!

Hope it's perfect.

Could you describe in a little more detail what you're trying to avoid with the ice and refrigeration?

Thanks.

Thanks!

CrafterAl I am trying to avoid a partial gel with it being in the wooden mold. I usually get a good hot gel in the wooden but don't want it this time.. I want to dodge gel. But not sure if the fridge would be able to stave it off on it's own so I'm keeping it extra cool with ice and cold soda all around the perimiter. Just checked it and it still super cold so that's good!
Think I'll wait until tomorrow to take it out though. Usually I do just a few hours in the fridge for silicone but will wait longer. Don't want to mess this labor intensive loaf up.

That looks so good! That's the second chocolate soap I've seen tonight and now I seriously need to go buy a candy bar...lol Please post some cut pics soon!

Here is the cut and its exactly! what I was going for.. Small swirl to look like coconut Creme.
And wow - the smell is yum. I eat chocolate once a day but its awful for my migraines so hoping this my stave off some of my cravings in the am instead. Hopefully it won't make it worse! Haha!

Can someone tell me how to stop my cutter from
Making bumps on the bar?
Strings are tight and bar is pretty firm but maybe not enough? It was 12 in mold then about 10 out to firm up more.

Bar on right u can see it. I can try to push them
Down but then the bar is never as smooth looking overall. Would love to never get them. :)

They do! Can't really smell the coconut so changing name to maybe whoopie pie or s'mores.
Really they smell like brownies!

That is absolutely beautiful soap. My cutter makes bumps too I just take something flat ( hamburger flipper or something like that and run it down the bars).. I don't think there is any way to avoid it.

Those make me want to cheat on my diet! and to give chocolate soap a try. Really nice! So you did two seperate batches to make this? Did I understand that right?

Yes.. I took the total amount for the mold and believe it was 70% for the chocolate and then 30% for the white. I used chocolate coconut milk yogurt for most of my water in the choco recipe so had to split them.
You could make one batch and then take out approx 1/3 to another pot.. then melt your chocolate in one and do the other white.
