Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

Your post keeps it going for me. However, I've been told multiple times asking the same question on different threads because I don't expect lotions hobbyists to frequent the Lye Soap thread, is "confusing" and "unkind". To me it's just asking different people, but they deleted the other...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

I think foil would definitely be better than nothing. Water, being one of the best solvents we know of, will take up gold and silver atoms from the foil. direct skin contact will also be beneficial I think. Certainly help one sell it if that were their goal lol Colloidal silver, I make myself...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

Love your neighbor as yourself? Listen to what I say when I don't have to listen to you? Is how you treated me. Shame. Sounds like you might have had some interesting or useful information you were willing to share. You're full of contradictions artemis All the best artemis.

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

I'm on here sharing a "gift". You disregard my reminder, ignore my question and stay on legality of "for sale". Who's "sneering"? Takes one to make the accusation, I've always observed. You don't like gifts? And, how do these things relate to a "GIFT" Bold underline and italicized ONLY to...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

Confused a couple posts. Same problem with whoever came up with calling something water based "Oil". Big problem with society in general, by my observational opinion. We all grew up with the same dictionary. Yet so many use their own private one then blame everyone else for not understanding...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

"silver" has been called "Healing" for centuries. The rule is $$. Only then do "Law's" get written. "Medical Grade"? wink, wink, nudge nudge? Did you know that DOCTORS,kill more people EVERY year than guns, drunk drivers AND backyard pools, COMBINED? You bring up a totally different point...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

I searched "magnesium flakes". Probably confused the algorithm used to boost "individual search" numbers. I still only get melt and pour ONLY when I specifically search "Lye soap". I was excited at the thought of another magnesium source for the skin. FYI, "Colloidal" is a suspension of...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

As a rule. Just wait to find colloidal silver/gold once they succeed at patenting a way to get the nano particles into the human body. The Burns ward sure calls sliver "healing" lol just a gift. But thanks :) THANK YOU!! A distinction I needed. How is E-wax with absorption? I switched to...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

Homemade "magnesium oil"? I'm curious. Do you use any salves with emulsified water based ingredients? What emulsifiers do you use? H2O Colloids just don't soak into the skin well/deep enough without a humectent like glycerine or a carrier that absorbs.

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

Different things to different people is a good thing. I understand I'm asking questions that would be best targeted to an industrial soap chemisti. In the hobby forums, my level of skill, my only hope of an answer to my question is likely some odd bit of knowledge someone picked up somewhere...

Adding colloidal gold and silver (particles) to oils

Adding them to soap was easy. mix lye/water (adjusted for colloid volume), add when clear and soap away. I'd like to add them to my balms and butters, but they're nano particles suspended in water. I have 2 questions. 1 Emulsifiers. I'd rather keep to as few "chemicals" as possible. If I...

    Unusual liquid soap suspension question

Have you tried the salt method of thickening? I also have issues with my search results not containing answered to MY question. For example, I wanted to know how to make "KOH Glycerine soap". All my search results (across multiple platforms) were only about adding it to melt and pour. Months...

    Bar Soap

Attempted to liquefy extra remnants of a bar soap I made. Not my first time doing this with my own recipes. Even at 2/1 water/soap I've always gotten a watery liquid that would gel on top over days. This recipe is acting very differently. 4/1 water to soap gels up entirely. Like yogurt.stirs up...

    A gift

A lot of new crap popping up. I live In Ontario Canada. No access to a Dr. (very long story). No choice but to do it myself. I went back to 19th century and earlier remedies in my research. From your list of remedies, you've been down that road. Just more fun to share :) Never mind the...

    A gift

Gotta make sure you did it right the first time! lol If you don't mind me asking, have you tried adjusting the PH of an ACV bath with something the skin uses? Magnesium carbonate, if it even exists (not a chemist, just pointing in a general direction kind of thing). I didn't test the PH when i...

    A gift

The last bars I made diluted into a liquid that gelled from the top down after days and stayed clear. This one totally gels within hours and goes back to opaque if heated to clear. I did have THC in all those other batches though. I tolerated the alcohol burn because the relief was so...

    Cannabis infused soap

With all due respect, The list of healing properties of THC/CBD are only growing. Please explain why those who can legally benefit from clearly NON-recreational applications should be prevented from sharing? Please explain the "common sense" I'm new to the forum. Thank you
