my colours were just a plain blue and a plain green (non bleeding) from a website called soaposh.co.uk
The third colour you think you can see is actually where I hadn't mixed the colour in thoroughly at the side if the bowl hehehe so that is just the normal soap colour without any added...

I think I messed with the top a bit too much and should have waited for it to thicken more before trying the Lyn top
Here is my 2nd batch of soap, made with men in mind.
This was my first attempt at swirling two colours and also my first attempt at the lyn top. Could be better but Im quite happy for my first try.
I used bergamot essential oil and eucalyptus essential oil which makes a refreshing...
It just called mulled wine from a uk based website 'just a soap', but thanks for the heads up, will take this into account incase it happens with this fragrance

Well the mulled wine fragrance came today and OH MY does it smell good. Can't wait to make this soap now, my family and friends are in for a treat! thanks for everyones advice.

Yes I am making a christmas soap using mulled wine fragrance, colouring with a deep red and a swirl of orange mixed with broze mica. Going to attempt a Lyn top and add a cinnamon stick on top for decoration :D
So hope I'm not making a fool of myself here but UK suppliers of tussah silk for soap making seems hard to come by...

hmmm maybe I worded my post wrong.
I realise soap is for cleansing and it's not a lotion bar.
Maybe I should have said I'm after a soap which doesn't strip you bare of all oils and leaves skin feeling soft rather than moisturised.

I've found some vegan friendly jojoba wax pastilles, alternative to beeswax. Says it makes the skin soft and velvety, anyone used this or think it would be nice instead of beeswax?
