What Bath & Body Thing Have You Done Today?

Thank you. Question, if I add it to the lye and it melts, will it still have a cooling sensation to the skin??

What Bath & Body Thing Have You Done Today?

Amazing post. Wondering if you or anyone else has made a cream with menthol in it as a summer cream to cool the skin, if so, would you share the recipe. I don’t sell products, I make them to enjoy myself.

Entry Thread for the March 2022 SMF Challenge - Column Pour

I have the same problem. What temperature do you get you lye to when you pour into your oils? I love the swirls of the soap but with my batter so (oatmeal) thick I haven’t attempted any of these beautiful designs.

I am new to this soapy thing and man have I gone all in. I was looking for a way to make my all natural dog shampoo have more lather and thicker. I discovered the dual lye soap paste and made it this weekend. It did it! It made the lather and thickness I needed. I am surprised at just how easy...

The pH is 6.8 as tested so not concerned there. I am wondering if the cornstarch is why it wont lather.

    I am new here

I make dog shampoos. I cant seem to get a nice soapy lather. I need help. I use thickened water (I use cornstarch), castle soap, Aloe Vera juice, vegetable glycerin, coconut oil, and essential oils. It cleans but no lather. Please, any suggestions would be helpful.
