will this work in CP soap ?

I make a scrubby bar with M&P by putting sugar in the bottom of the mould before I pour the soap over it. Giving it a scrubby layer. if I try the same thing with CP soap -will the heat from the soap melt the sugar during the gel stage ? Am worried about the sugar 'disappearing' ..!

    mould question

I have a square mould that I would like to try the column swirl technique with. However this mould does not have dividers. Can I 'make' my own dividers using maybe strong cardboard ? Would that have the same effect or could you recommend a suitable alternative ? I am in the UK. Thanks!

    light trace question

Yes it was the curing time I was referring to. Thanks for letting me know. So it would still be OK to do the swirl at light trace and then slice after 24-48 hours ? And Then leave to cure for 4-6 weeks

    light trace question

I would like to try and improve my swirl technique and have noticed that it will improve if I begin the colouring and swirling at very light trace. Can anyone tell me if the duration of the curing process is affected in anyway by doing it like this ?
