Hi there.. I need some help with using Mica..How much mica you put in a batch of 1 kilo........I think that is about 38 ozs...not sure. I bought some mica from a woman who is importing it but it didn't do anything. I put 5 gms in which is about a tablespoon I think.....did nothing...

These are my first tries at making soap! Pale yellow is sweet orange (though I lost most of the scent) the tan is Babay butter and the yellow is Honeywash.. smells very much like the Honey I washed the kids from Lush :)

Hi guys, I have noticed some people have been making soap with a loofah in it. I want to have a go at it but unsure if you cut the slices before or if you can cut the soap and loofah at the same time.. does anyone know the best way t make it? Thanks!

Thanks everyone. Had a bit of trouble, once the soap reached trace i added the sweet orange but I can no longer smell it?! Must try it again but as meantioned maybe using a 5x or 10x :(

Hi, I’ve got a stainless steel mixing bowl for the lye but wanted to use the pot for the oils and butters..humm maybe I need to buy another mixing bowl to mix them together.. In your opinion would the Teflon pot be ok for the butters at least? Thank you so much for your help
