You can't buy any hard butters other than the ghee? Shea butter, cocoa butter, Mango butter, kokum etc. I know you said that the only ones you could access where the ones you mentioned. The suggestion above, would be your best option...

    Goat Milk Soap/White Spots

@cmzaha: Can I ask you what the vinegar does for the soap? I use sodium lactate, dissolved salt when needed, sugar, and goat milk powder when making soap. I have never put vinegar in them. If it will add any benefits to soap, I'm all for it. looking forward to the answer.

    Labels

Good day, I am starting to make my labels, but unsure of exactly what I HAVE to put on the label. I know the oils, butters, EO/fragrance and weight needs to be on the labels. Do you also have to put the things like vit e, argan, black seed oil, what your super fat was, tussah silk, etc.

    What happened

Thank you all for your feedback. I really appreciate it. Using it as and embed to another soap sounds great. Thank you. As you say, I will let it cure for the next 4 weeks, and try my best not to look at it. So far the color is changing and it is looking better than it was in the beginning. I...

    What happened

So, is this a wasted batch. I really do not want to waste it, but if it is harmful to anyone , I would just try again. Oh to answer the question about the formula, yes I did use the soap calc for the formula. However not used to it and did not save. Had to many things going wrong that day. But...

    What happened

I agree, I used that same batch and split it up and made two different soaps. The other ones are fine. Here is a picture of that one. At least to my knowledge. We will see in 3 weeks.

    What happened

Well, I mixed the turmeric in a bit to late I know that. But tried my best to blend in. This one gave me a bad vibe. Recipe was i hate to say destroyed by some lye spilling on it. Yes I agree what you said about the partial gel. I noticed that once it started hardening on the top and the sides...

Soap turned out a little to thick

At the time I did use sodium lactate. However, I have seen people use yogurt. Didn't have any at the time, but I will make sure I have some on hand next time. I can't complain, they came out beautiful and the smell lights up the house. But it just limited me from doing any sort of design. But...

However, I made a Lemongrass soap the other day, however the soap was a little too thick (but I still managed to put it in the mold). My question is, is there anything that I...
