    recipe for a white soap

It will if you don't superfat, or maybe if you superfat only a small amount like 5% or less. But if you superfat 15% or more it will be an off-white color. Mine was anyways.

    Coconut Soap (Attn Paul)

I sure wish I could find this recipe! I've been searching it for an hour, using the search feature, and I still cannot find it. :( Paul or anyone, if you can send me a link to this recipe or the recipe itself I would really love to try it. I'm kind of into this "economy mode" thing...

Who has best price - Coconut Oil (76 deg)

Who has best price - Coconut Oil (76 deg)

    Why discount water?

Hi brian0523, I was wondering this myself. The best info I have been able to find online about discounting water is here: http://www.tlcsoaps.com/waterdiscount.htm I'm just a beginning soaper and I have not tried discounting water yet, so I don't really know if this info is useful or...

What does Aloe Vera do in soap?

Hi Paul, I'm just getting started in soap making and trying to learn about temperatures and such. When you say you use room temperature lye solution with room temperature oils, are you saying you make CP soap without adding any heat?
