    I pour most of my soap to a chip container (pringles like) and some leftover to a silicone mold. The silicone mold soap worked out fine and was in lighter colour than the pringles one. When i was trying to cut the pringles one....the soap was too brittle and it cracked....I used the same chip...

    ya, this is really addictive indeed....i've like 30 bars sitting on my "curing rack" in less than a month lol :lol: I tried sth like youre recipe and i just loved it, i added some oatmeal for it light exfoliate effect and i'll say they're perfect match ~~

    I grated some of my old soap into the modified batch, and it worked perfectly with heating pads as suggested~ and those leaving for longer cure, i left them under air con and they harden up quite nicely too. Thanks again carebear~ :D

    I haven't tried the lather yet but I'll check it out tonite~ I actually cut down the jojoba to 9% as suggested by soapsmurf and ran the recipe on soap cal, the numbers looked fine... I duno what's the real reason causing the failure as there were too many "first times" in this batch...

    soapcal provides these 3 numbers and apparently they're all referring to the "hardness" of soap.... I was just wondering what's the different between these 3 numbers and how should i read these numbers? :?

    Ya i never experienced a real trace neither but I found hand whisking for about 15-20 mins nonstop until the solution looks emulsified work out just fine....but this won't work out nicely if u want to do swirl... I just got a stick blender as I'm planning to try doing swirl....it's just too...
