These shampoo bars are made with synthetic detergents (sydnets). They are not true soap, as that is defined. True soap is made by saponification of lye mixed with fats/oils. Syndets are lab-produced through a different chemical process.

Your shampoo bars look edible! I agree with @Misschief about using a separate conditioner bar. That way, you don't have cleansing ingredients fighting with coating ingredients. Conditioner bars are easy and fun, too!

Very pretty! I often use vinegar as my additional liquid, to help with hardening the soap. I also feel like it makes the lather nicer somehow. The only reason I don't use it more often is the lye adjustment it requires - I'm lazy like that. ;)

It looks to me like a pretty standard CP soap website with various designs and scents. If your friend asked you to post it here to help with marketing and selling those soaps, that isn't allowed unless your friend has signed up as a sponsor or vendor with SMF and paid the appropriate fee for that.

I agree with @MrsZ's recommendation to change your lye setting. Instead of 38% Water as Percent of Oils, choose "Lye Concentration" and try it at 33% - that's a good spot for starters. As you get used working with to less water, you can increase the concentration to 35% or higher. Having less...
