    DOS GALLERY

Thanks for the pictures! I was wondering what to look for!

    DOS? :(

I had one of my soaps do this, too. I think it was the FO I used as it was a beer recipe, not milk. The FO was the only thing I used that was different. Too bad, because otherwise it smells and looks lovely!

Pictures of my SOAP WENT WRONG.... LOL... PRETTY BAD!

Eek! I don't know what to tell you, but just keep on trying! I've found there is a huge learning curve to soap making, much more than people realize. But that's what makes it fun! You have my sympathies on this batch, but try and try again!

    Turned out cute

Mistakes help us learn! However yours does not look like a mistake at all-your soaps are super cute!

    How's your weather?

We got a lot of fluffy snow yesterday and today and the temp was -9 with a windchill of -17. We are hoping it stays for a white Christmas!

What are POP mica's?? (and for Canadians.. where to buy?)

I don't know how close to the border you live, but I am only 20 minutes away so I have it sent to a US address and then go pick it up. Do they deliver to Canada? The colourants I purchased from CanWax didn't impress me much either.

    Tide Scent

I made a soap with a Downy-like FO and while I didn;t like it, one of my girlfriends loves it! To each their own, I guess!

    Working with beeswax

I made my first solid perfume and a couple of lotion bars the other day. I had a lot of fun and LOVE the scent. This was my first time working with beeswax and I was wondering if there was an easier way to cut it other than going at it with a knife? It is a solid block (I wanted to use local...

    The plastic oil bottle

My DH is already complaining about the amount of space I am using to store all my FO's, Oils, Molds, etc, not to mention the curing soaps! Imagine if I started branching out to the fridge!

Silicone baking molds for CP?? (example pics)

LOVE the Canadian Tire link! I picked up the Wilton red snowflake one and was really happy with it. I have since purchased a few other designs! Really fun to experiment with!

    What are you reading?

Love, Love, LOVE Jodi Picoult! Have read all her books and love every one. My Sister's Keeper is my absolute fave-the movie did it no justice IMO. Right now I am reading a James Patterson book, Bathing Suit I believe it is called. I love thrillers!

Am I having a reaction to fragrance oil

    Yes, are you feeling better?

What did you make this weekend?

Thank you so much for that tutorial! I can't wait to try it! This weekend I made a Wedding Cake scented batch and used the funnel pour and I made a batch that came out reminding me of either Buttered Rum or Christmas Eggnog and it wasn't supposed to be either!!

    Anyone familiar with Lush?

It is so hard to resist the smell...and the packaging! The whole way the store and the products are presented is very inviting. Never mind that the product is sub-par(at least, to our standards! :P ), people flock to it. Kinda like Britney Spears-all flash and marketing, no real talent.
