    Ocean soap with seaweed

I live near the sea so have collected some seaweed, dulce and bladder wrack to make some soap. I added 2 teaspoons of dulce, and one of bladder wrack into some avocado oil before adding to my base oils 1000 grams. The bladder wrack was a bit scratchy in the oil so I strained it before adding...

I've infused 1 tablespoon of dried seaweed in 30 grams of avocado oil and plan to add to soap batch tomorrow, not sure if this is enough to colour a light green or should I put in more. Also not sure if I should strain or add it all for a speckle look. Will post photos when done. Also do you...

Adding super fat to master batched oils

I know this might seem to be a silly question, but here goes!! I've been master batching my oils at 5% super batch If I want to super fat at say 8% do I just add 3% of another oil of my choice of the total oil weight. So if my original receipe is 1000 grams of oil, do I just add another 30...

Is it weird to buy soap when you make it?

I aways buy hadmade CP soaps when i see them, then photograph and keep the packaging!! Mentioning soap from Afghanistan reminds me of seeing some soap that was sold in a craft fair that was apparently made in Turkey. It was in the shape of fruit, - bananas, apple and orange and beautifully...
