    Best temp to add fragrence

Hi there, I'm using soy wax to make my candles, I saw somewhere to add fragrence to wax at 180 f for best scent retention and throw. Is this correct ? Seem a bit high to me, but I'm new at candles so could do with some help. Thanks.

    White bloom on wax tarts

Just started making candles, so I thought I'd make some wax tarts. I've used soy wax, and candle friendly scent at 5%. Colour is candle powder. They have come out ok and smell lovely, but there is a white bloom on the top, swirly white. I thought I'd mixed the wax thoroughly using a milk...

Here is my own soap recipe.

You will have to tell us which oils you used and what percentages. Also when did you make the soap as time is a factor.

    Recommended Suppliers for the UK

Freshskin. The fragrence didn't behave, not saying it was definitely that, but I think so. I also bought some EO, they are cheaper than other suppliers but they don't have the same strength of smell, and feel greasy ? Don't mind using them is soap, but won't be using them in face creams.
