When I do a rebatch, or HP, when its done cooking and i"m ready to take it out of the crockpot, I will add my oil and whatever additives, then stick blend it to get it mixed in well. That usually will take care of the seepage.

You could add some other liquid to drop the % down... like aloe, or more water, or goats/coconut milk. But I don't understand how to figure exactly how much to add.

Even though they have the same properties, they will bring different qualities to the party. Just like coconut and babassu.... very similar in soap calc properties, yet my skin can tell the difference between a soap made with babassu and one without!

Lard also gives a terrific white bar of soap. I used tumeric in my soap and at first it was a lovely pumpkin color, but then it faded to a pale yellow. Still pretty, but not as nice as the pumpkin.

I've seen all kinds of swirling techniques, but i can't find how to spoon swirl. Or am I over thinking it and its just where you take you spoon and manually place the colors where you want?
