Do you think these look good enough to eat???

Oh, how pretty! Definitely good enough to eat  That's such a great idea, doing the combination of bath bomb/bubble bars!

How many bars do you have curing?

I have about 50-60 bars curing right now, and I make batches ranging between 5 and 16 bars at a time. What will you do with all that soap if you don't sell? :D Give them as gifts?

A couple of batches from the past two weeks.

Wow, they look great! I especially like the ITP swirl.

    Margarita Salt Bars!!

Oh, what I meant was that I made a castile, but didn't try it out yet! :D It's only about a week old.

    Margarita Salt Bars!!

Thank you, Hazel, that's great advice! :) I am also guilty of trying my soaps after only a week hehe  ...so far I've found that the lather greatly improves in all of my soaps with more cure time. My oldest batch of CP is only about 7 weeks old, so I'm sure they'll get even better with...

    Margarita Salt Bars!!

Wow, these bars are like concrete! I tried one out, and the lather is great. Do you think these need to cure the full 4 weeks? No zap, and hard as a rock.

    Castile Soap- Take two!

Thank you! I felt the same way, but I then I realized...if I make it now, put it on the curing rack and forget about it...in a few months I'll have nicely cured castile. If I put it off because I don't want to wait, well then in a few months I will not have castile! :D

    Pour Lye into water...right?

It can neutralize it, but it creates heat while it does...which is no good when it's on your skin, since you could get burned anyway.

My first 2 Batches of CP Soap!

Wow, good save on the gm, oatmeal, and honey batch! Your first batch looks AMAZING! I absolutely love your swirls...way to jump right in :D I'm about 10 batches in, and it really is addicting. So much fun, isn't it?

Great soap but can't use - photo attached

I've heard that you can get a nice pure black with activated charcoal, but still have white bubbles and no bleeding. I haven't tried it yet myself, but I have some on the way to me so we'll see :)

    Pure dairy soap

I think by "cheating," the OP meant that calling it a "milk soap" may seem slightly misleading to those who don't know how soap is made. I don't think they meant it as an attack on soap makers who make milk soaps. It's so easy to misconstrue tone in written communication :) OP, I understand...

    Some more

Oh my goodness! The tops on Fisherman's Catch look like fluffy clouds! Flower Garden just looks beautiful. Is that a spoon swirl? What are the scents? Orange Cream looks good enough to eat!

Those look great!! I love the choices you gave them :D

    Margarita Salt Bars!!

Thank you! When I put the salt bars on the curing rack next to my other soaps, I realized that they are about 30% bigger than the bars from my other 2 lb batches...the salt must add a lot of weight and volume. They're pretty heavy, too! I measured them, and they are 3.5 x 3.5 x 1. Do you...

    Margarita Salt Bars!!

Thanks! You can see that 3 of the bars in the back look rougher than the rest...I cut those with a knife. Then, I remembered my wire cheese slicer, and that worked MUCH better. Smoother cuts, and much more even! (I can't cut a straight line with a knife to save my life) It looks kind of like...
