I went to Lowes and I took my friend who used to work at home depot with me and she was talking about how most stores lokebthay will have a scrap bin. And well Lowes didn't :lol: so we went home depot and they were soooo much nicer and the wood only cost .51 cents and the associate cut the wood...

From my under standing there aren't a lot of short cuts to soaping. I would wait at least 4 months before using them to get the full benifit.

I did a non gel soap with no goats milk last week..... it is still really soft. Is your mold oven safe? You could probably stick it in the oven for an hour or 2 so that you can force it to gel and get it out of the mold.

You can technically use CP soap in 2 days as well because most of the chemical reaction that makes soap happens in the first 24-48 hours. But it won't have the same lather among other things as it would when its finished curing. Olive oil takes several months of curing to get the best out of it...

Yeah I know that now. I just really didn't want to have to wait 4 months for my castile bars to cure :lol: I was a little desparate. But I know now there's no short cuts when it comes to soap making

I mainly use coconut oil cause it makes bubbles. Non cleansing soaps still get you clean. So I just use castor oil to make my soaps more bubbly when I'm not using coconut
