I ran a recipe for a salt bar through soapcalc and couldn't believe the cleansing number was 40. I have never made salt bars before but I was shocked that number was so high. Is that normal? Isn't that too harsh for the body?

My grand kids likes using my homemade soap, however, it always breaks the skin out on there face. I usually SF at 7 but I was wondering if I SF higher, which would reduce the amount of lye if that would help. My cleansing number typically is around 22.

I have an oval and rectangle guest size silicone mold from Crafter's Choice (#1608 and #1610). I've done two batches in these molds and both batches were a disaster - soft and stuck to mold. If I process the batch by putting the mold in low temp oven would that solve the problem?

I would like to mix FO that smells like the Doublemint gum. I've read where you can mix Spearmint and Rosemary to get that FO. Does anyone know if that's true and how much of each one you would use?
