I'm not too fond of salt bars but I've discovered that my mother loves them. These were mixed, poured, and cut within 1 1/2 hours during the wee hours of the morning. Scented with Rustic Escentuals sea salt and rice flower FO.

This is beautiful! What percent did you use for the menthol crystals? I have a friend who wants peppermint soap with menthol, but she wants the menthol really strong. Like, REALLY strong.

Me neither! It's mostly white with a very light blue drop/spoon swirl. I may have gone crazy with the spoon though, so we'll see.

This one I just made a few minutes ago. It's a combination of orange spice and vanilla ice cream FOs and smells like butterscotch. I haven't had time to soap since before thanksgiving. Feels good to be able to start again!

I've discovered that soaping while tired is a I tried making a salt brine 80% lard bar and added double the salt to the water. Thank you! My youngest (14) actually made the last soap. She went stir crazy with the spoon for the in the pot swirl. I thought she had blended the colors together but I think she did an amazing job! Funny thing is, with the Rock Star dupe, the fake plasticy smell is what I like about it!

Here are a few soaps I've done with Lush dupes. In order, Breath of God, Rock Star, and So White. The Lush dupes are pretty spot on, especially rock star! I threw in an extra soap scented with a Cashmere Mist dupe.

I use 10% and have no problem with lather. I do add milk, sugar, and castor oil @ 5% as well though.
