    Avoidance issues

I, too, am shutting this off for the night and learning to block people tomorrow...I am writing this from the relaxing Caribbean and refuse to even read this persons posts anymore. Before I sign off for the night, I just want to say how tremendously invaluable "this Deeanna person" is to me...

    Avoidance issues

I, too, have been biting my tongue, not wanting to be goaded into lowering myself to even reply. Thank the good Lord for all of the intelligent "respect-has-to-be-earned" members of this forum. I learn so much from you each day....and I will continue to ignore the one that is obviously creating...

    November 2017 - 1920's Theme Challenge

First try is in the mold and snugly insulated on this cold wet snowy day. Kinda makes me wish I was freshly poured soap! I'm freezing! I also have a soap-making induced adrenaline rush going on as I wasn't even sure this batch would work! We'll see when I cut it tomorrow! Soap on, my friends!

Thread titles and my very strange mind.

    Getting into Bottles

I use a pastry bag. The plastic bag/pastry bag is the norm, I think. I put the tip of mine through a funnel that fits in the neck of the bottle. It helps to keep the threads clean, and to contain any drips, etc.

    Wow, ew, lesson learned

Is it wrong that when you said "they were so oily" that my brain immediately went into "could we SOAP that oil?" mode? Ha! I think I may be losing my sanity. Let's all make cookie oil soap! :headbanging: On a side note....I made gluten-free chocolate chip cookies the other day. Hubby liked...

October 2017 SMF Soap Challenge, simple minimalistic swirl

Thought I'd post my other non-entry soap. I liked the idea of it, but it just didn't pop for me like I wanted it to. I'm just not liking the crooked embed. AC and TD scented with Honey I Washed The Kids.

October 2017 Challenge Entry Thread- Minimalism

"Moooo-n over Mi-ham-i"......get it?.....it's got both beef tallow and lard in it. White is titanium dioxide. Turquoise is a custom mix of Blue Vibrance, Green Vibrance, and Ultramarine Blue. Gold mica line for interest. Scented with Fairy Garden from Nurture.

What soapy thing have you done today?

I would not consider that a failed soap at all. Maybe not the look you had in your head, but it's beautiful!

    Leftovers

If they're skin-safe scents (as opposed to some scents that are used only for candles) I put about 1/4 tsp in with the vinegar rinse in my fabric softener receptacle of my washer when I use my homemade powdered laundry soap. The scent stays better than when I scent the actual laundry soap, and I...
