Hi everyone, hope you are all ok and making lots of products. I have been off the grid for a while..... My mum was sick in January so I went over to see her in UK and a week later she died. It has been such a hard time dealing with the grief, sometimes it just overwhelms me without any warning...

Thank you for the info Mattin, but I am not sure how fine you can get the AC even after grinding it down. I bought granules once but I can't get it fine enough for soap, it's too scratchy. Jmo

Finally got my shaving soap out of the pvc tubes, thanks to someone here who puts it in a hot oven (switched off) for 10 minutes, it did the trick. It's now cut and drying in my soap room

Check out Ridgeway Soaps blog about the way she does HP. I do it her way so probably takes 45 minutes on low, no stirring and saran wrap instead of lid.

I am so glad you came here and opened your heart to us. So often we chat about soap etc and forget there is someone behind the posts. Gigi you are so upbeat on here and regularly make me smile and laugh so keep up that attitude and kick this room mate to the kerb. Ain't nobody got time for that...
