    Basin v Primal

You can buy primal essence soaps buy the loaf and then slice them yourself. And they sell wholesale. Another big seller in the upscale M&P market are gem soaps or rock soaps. Good luck. I would sell my self to the devil if i could open a shop. But for now I can dream. Keep us posted so we can...

First batch and think something went wrong?

It was over heated. I think most people don't gel milksoaps for that very reason. I think if you had just let it sit it would have been beautiful. The peaks are FAB! keep up the good work.

My MP Soap formed white crystals on it...Help!

The white crystals is glycering that has come out of the soap and dried. Were these wrapped. I find that eventually all my M&P soaps will do this if I have left them unwrapped. You can just wash it off.

bath bomb by using Borax and Cornstarch

Chalk is also used to deter ants so you better not let your children play with it either! I said it on the internet so it is the truth. Borax is a mined mineral that is actually natural. That being said i just make my bath boms with bakingsoda and citric acid.

    fun M&P on etsy

That's one of the many reasons I don't post on ETSY anymore. The prices are so low I can't compete. Any I never did sell anything and they pulled some of my stuff for copyright infringement which I think was bogus!

    Really Stupid Question

Food coloring will fade big time. I personally have tried many bases and I personally can not tell the differance in the shea, goat'smilk, olive oil, etc. but I have noticed a Hugh differance in suppliers. As suppliers go I like WSP's. I think they are Crafter's Choice brand. I think it...

    Noobie question :)

I agree with Janallen. If you want more lather try a different base. There are plenty of bases out there with SlSa already in them. I have never had luck adding anything to my M&P bases.

Shea Butter base & technique Q

Yes it does stay white if your EO/FO does not discolor. Your EO/FO supplier will be able to tell you if it will discolor. You can use it for layering. If you just want random chunks, it is just cut up soap and drop it in. No the Primal Elements soap is another story. If you want it in the log...
