I would let it cure a little while before rebatching, I think it will mellow out after the cure..

I would only use a couple of ounces of shea and cocoa butter and make that amount up in OO..You will still have a great soap for less cost too. You can also add tussah silk or clay to the recipe.

I do similar to lsg, you have to cover your butt, people are so sue happy.

I would use the almond oil because of cost and the fact that soap is a wash off product. For lotion etc I would go with avocado oil..I love it.

To rebatch in the crock pot I turn it on high and let it heat up a little bit, I turn the crock to medium and then I add the chunked up soap and let it melt, add the scent and put in mold. I am not sure what rate sandalwood eo is used in soap, I hope someone else can answer that.

My pitcher looks just like the picture too.. I have had it for years with no evidence of wear or breakdown..
