I make a soap with fine pumice it gets off dirt grease oil etc. I make it with a high superfat so the soap isn't bothering hands to wash so often.

75% lard with 25% Coconut Oil will make a nice soap.. Soap is soap if you wash your hands properly it does not matter if it is a bar or liquid.

I have the same problem, I use a heating pad and weigh out enough for 10 batches or so, I out those in smaller buckets and melt them in the microwave.
