Ya, I got the "Everything soap making book" from the library a couple of times...it's great! The other one I just love is "Smart soap making" by Anne L. Watson. I have actually been in touch with her...(she lives here in WA) and she is very down-to-earth and her book is very, very helpful...

I have been useing a "Stick blender," because I read somwhere once that hand blenders can mix too much air into the soap. But I am new to this so maybe sombody with more experiance will come by :D

Can you find Palm oil in Wal-Mart or any other grocery stores? (The only reason I ask is we live quite a ways from the nearest town...can't exactly just take a little drive and check :D ) The only thing I found online was somboddy that said "they have everything at Walmart" I am quite sure...
