I used a mix of black and purple oxides. :) I wanted the purple a bit darker so I added just a smidge of black to it.

I've used vanilla before and I didn't have any problems. But Genny is right, you could have some potential overheating problems, it didn't happen to me but soap likes to behave differently for everyone. Otherwise, there is no reason why you couldn't use vanilla soy milk that I can think of.
