    I eliminated mine by using 2% Beeswax, forcing gel, and by using a tighter water:lye ratio. Haven't had any soda ash is over a hundred batches.

    That's not making soap. It's just watering down already made soap. If you want to make liquid soap you'll have to use Potassium Hydroxide.

    I've heard the same, original poster. Not sure why people think you can't swirl with Melt and Pour. A quick google search yields quite a few hits.

    Someone on another forum suggested trying to make a snow globe soap. I haven't been able to get it out of my head since then. Been looking into possible ways to make it work off and on all day. I've officially been bitten by the research bug.

    1) You may find that your soap gels, or doesn't, differently in the new mold. Not a bad thing, but it should be considered. 2) Not really, no. 3) I would recommend a silicon liner. it will eliminate those lines and lower your waste.

    Soap sweat

    Yes, it will still sweat when cured, as the glycerin will still be there. If it's only condensating a bit you could ward it away by aiming a desk fan at the curing bars to keep the air moving. But the best way to prevent condensation is to condition the room.

    Handmade soap and melt and pour soap both naturally contain glycerin, which is a humectant. They make the soap less harsh, but pull water from the air to themselves.
