    Lotion Testing/Safety

Interesting. I wonder how lush does it. Most of their products are all natural such as face masks are out on display in the stores. All of their bathbombs are unwrapped for everyone to pick up and handle with unclean hands etc.

    Bath bomb questions

Yes, I have but just use fragrance to bind these days. Also depends on the citric acid I’m using. Powder citric definitely no oils but 5ml with fine if needed. Doesn’t need to be that wet sand texture. Dropped my oils because they used to crumble and get warty after a few days. Depends on your...

    Bath bomb questions

Epsom salts are not necessary in bathbombs but some people like to use them because of their benefits. I don’t use oil anymore just citric acid and bicarbonate binded with fragrance. I use powder citric. It’s sets up faster than the fine so you gotta be quick! Anyway good luck they are difficult...

    Bath bomb questions

You could drop the oils altogether and just use the fragrance to bind. The best ones I’ve made had no oil. Rock hard in a few hours. Also try leaving them in the moulds for at least 24 hrs if possible

    Fragrance for bathbombs

Hello, Does anyone know a good fragrance supplier for bathbombs in the UK. I tried a few but the scent seems to wear off in a few days in my test batches. I use around 2% fragrance. Should I up the fragrance in my batches? Can I ask what percentage everyone uses in their bathbombs? Maybe...

Is this because of Titanium Dioxide ?

Haven’t done lots of soaping yet but I’ve read from a experienced soaper the causes are too much fragrance oil, not mixing the TD properly- scraping the TD off the sides and bottom of the container ensuring it’s mixed well. Or try mixing with warm water Probably not much help! Your soaps are...

    Fragrances and CP soap

Hello, I’m going to give CP soap a try for the first time. Can someone advise me accelerating fragrances? How do I know if a particular type of fragrance will rice or seize etc? Many thanks for your help :)
