I have looked online for a fisherman's soap(Anise Soap) recipe and only got ones that are 100% coconut oil .... I'm not sure but how does that work?? Has anyone else made this type of soap ??? Does it lather up and work good??? HELP PLEASE!!!

which is better star anise or just anise???

Now, does the anise turn the soap colors??....I mean does it turn the soap black or anything???

Salty, yes dear, it is the anise that smells like licorice...it's great for using in the kitchen and for those fishermen and hunters in your life.

I want to make anise eo soap and even though I'm going to use my good ole recipe I don't know how much eo to add. I usually add 1 oz. of fo per pound of oil so it's usually 3 oz. of fo .... but, eo is stronger so I don't know how much to add per pound....Can someone tell me ??? I don't...

well, usually my liquid dyes don't turn out the color I want them too ... So I was told to add them to the soap mixture after adding TD..... So, I was just wondering if I can't just add it to the TD then add it to the mixture.

ok...stupid question....what or where do you get Select Shades??..Are they liquid or pigment???

well, I didn't do mine exactly like the tutorial.... I poured my colors in the mold together not one then the other and back and fourth....that's why mine didn't turn out like the tutorials. but, I love mine still and I'm going to make more either tonight still or tomorrow to see if I can get...

well, I've done the liquid dye in my cp soap and it never turns the color the dye is suppose to be.... So, then I used the pigments and they were great. So, my question is... Can I just mix a tablespoon of TD and some liquid dye??.... Will that at least work on my cp soap??? Just a thought ...
