    Bacon Dripping Soap?

    Wash it once or twice and it makes perfectly good soap.....it does have a bit of "piggy" smell to it, but it works just fine for household purposes.

    Natural Laundry Soap (no shredding)

    Add about 1/2 cup borax, washing soda, or other favorite water softener (I like the White King with phosphates :oops: ) to your water and let it dissolve before you add the soap. If you have a front loader (I don't), add the water softener directly to the wash tub so it can mix in as quickly...

    have a hard time selling lard soap?

    I think it depends on your customer base, the area you live in and the like. A soaping friend of mine sells in the midwest, makes her soaps with mostly lard, and no one quibbles about animal fat. I doubt it would go as well here in Portland, with all the vegan friendly places and the like...
