    discoloration of olive oil soap

    I didn't cover it well enough to "seal it," since I used only used a tea towel, and I unmolded it in 48 hours. You both offer advice that makes sense and I appreciate it! Every surface but the bottom discolored, so if protected, likely will maintain its color... I'll let you know. Many thanks!

    small problem? My goat's milk soap came out great! It has a white-ish, almost ashy looking film on it, but I've read that's normal? Ph is fine and the soap feels great. I've read some recipes that say to cover the soap as it cures, and some say not to. I made some olive oil soap, too...
