I have made two attempts....I like my second one better at this point, but it still isn't great. I cut all my soaps with a knife, so when I try to slice off a very thin slice to reveal more of the pattern they tend to not look as nice. I am letting my second batch harden up a little more and...

I wanted to update everyone on my DOS issues. I moved all my curing soap down to the basement where it is cool and dark. Prior to moving I shaved off all the DOS spots that had appeared on the only two batches it affected. Since that time I have had NO more DOS show up on any of these batches...

This is my latest cut of soap. I worked up a 70% palm recipe ('cause I had the palm and need to use it up!) and scented it with NG Sweet Orange Chili Pepper. Micas used were NS Orange Vibrance and NS Firecracker. I expected the 70% palm recipe to accelerate for some reason but it didn't at all...

I unmolded my batch of Zany's No Slime Castile this morning - just after about 14 hours. I probably could have waited another few hours, but it came out all right, only a little soft at the edges. Will cut it tomorrow morning. Looking good so far! Thanks for the recipe, @Zany_in_CO !

I made my first ever batch of Zany's No-Slime Castile. I didn't add any FO or color and the recipe behaved perfectly. Can't wait to unmold it! I also cut a 70% palm recipe that I made yesterday. Here is the poured soap - I will post cut photos in the photo gallery later tonight or tomorrow...
