    Brambleberry Recommendations

I think it's hard to recommend FOs, because everyone's taste is different, but here are some of my standards that I always buy from BB. Lavender, OMH, Energy and Cedar and Saffron. Energy is not a personal favorite, but all of them have been good sellers for me. FOs are about all I buy from...

If you need a good laugh...

So glad you enjoyed it, I thought it was too good to keep to myself. It's something I'd never considered when I thought about owning one. And all of us who have pets know that sometimes they have accidents of one kind or another. The review section contains quite a few pics of this type of...

If you need a good laugh...

If you're like me, and have pets, I'm sure it has crossed your mind a time or two that it would be nice to have something like a Roomba to take care of all the darn cat/dog hair. I can't tell you how many times I've had guests over and had a furball roll out embarrassingly from under some...

Game of Thrones Kit Harrington & Rose Leslie engaged

I saw that on the news this morning. I can't believe I could feel so happy for two people I've never met...but I am!!! I loved their short romance on the show. Loved that she was funny and got him to smile. Yay for the two of them! :)

    Stinky dog dilemma

That lucky part goes both ways! :) There are definitely advantages to having a small dog. I don't envy you having to try to bathe great big ones. And yes, he is a cutie, and such a good boy. A good advertisement for dog adoption!

    Stinky dog dilemma

I like the idea about being close to the ground means he picks up more odors. The close to the ground part certainly applies to him! He doesn't rest when he's on the porch. He's on alert, protecting me from chipmunks, neighbors, the wind, the world. Such a good guard dog. His bed is indoors, and...

    Stinky dog dilemma

Nope, not from his mouth. He actually has good teeth and gums. Thinking this is not from anal glands as it's just the typical doggy odor, but strong. Especially for being as small as he is, it's a lot of stink. Thank goodness it doesn't last. :)

    Stinky dog dilemma

Nope, not massaging his rectal area. This is an overall smell, and it's just normal doggy odor...but strong. I think George hit the nail on the head. I'm going to have to check his ears for mushrooms. :)

    Stinky dog dilemma

Fritos??? To me, dog feet smell like popcorn! C'mere Scout. Yup, popcorn. Why don't our feet smell like yummy snacks?

    Stinky dog dilemma

Hmmm...dog in sun, huh? That's possible, I guess. When I did the experiment today, I sat on the shady side of the porch, because it's hot today, and he stayed near me, cause I had treats. As far as the feet, it may come from his feet, but if it does, it comes from all the rest of him too...

    Stinky dog dilemma

I feed him dry food (the good stuff), and fresh veggies. The porch is a lot warmer than the house, and I thought of that too. I sat outside with him, and waited a while to let him warm up, picked him up and sniffed. Just a tiny bit of doggy smell. I waited until he started barking at something...

    Stinky dog dilemma

Remember the sweet little guy I adopted last December? Well, he continues to be the best dog ever. But...there's this one thing that has me scratching my head. I have a screened porch and he and the cat often spend time out there. He loves to bark at the squirrels and anything else that makes...

    Your favorite gloves and respirator

I'm in the group that does not use a respirator. I've been soaping for many years, and have never used one. I'm 67, and have asthma, and here's what works for me...I hold my breath while I pour the lye into the water, and stir...and then I walk away. I wait about 10 minutes and when I go back...

How long after it harderns do you cut your soap?

As shunt mentioned, it depends on whether the soap has gelled or not. This is the main reason I like to CPOP, and gel my soaps. Whatever time of day I soap, I unmold and cut the following morning. The only time I ever had difficulty removing my soap from a silicone mold, was when I put it in the...

    First Soap! Many things realized[emoji54]

Congratulations on your first soap! As for the streaks, here's what has worked for me. Although the stick blender is great at mixing the batter for soap, I don't think that it mixes as thoroughly and evenly as we may think. Since I always have my spatula ready to scrape the soap batter out of...

    How much to bring?

Yes, I'd advise to bring as much as you can. You never know how things will go, and it would be very frustrating to be selling like crazy and run out. Better to have more than not enough. There are a lot of great threads in this section on doing your first craft fair, tips about setting up, how...

    Help! Need Nag Champa!

Nag Champa is one of my favorite fragrances, and I've tried quite a few different suppliers. For me, WSP's is definitely the best.

    Puppies!!

I'm also one who says, "never again", when I lose a pet. But there comes a time when the right one comes along to fill that empty space, and you know it's right. Or in your case, two right ones! I'm so happy for you, and them. :)
