I’m one that uses powdered sugar in all my soap. It doesn’t speed trace, and it does give lovely bubbles I feel. I would agree that heat had the most to play in this one, as while I am someone who will do a OPW with a thicker trace then others, it would be nearly impossible to sling pudding.

I use silk in all my soaps, but can tell you the humidity plays a huge factor. I don’t much ever get to leave doors open, as South Florida, but I’m betting that’s your culprit.

Satsuma from NS is such a great FO! I’m glad it’s holding well for you. I blend it with a dash of orange peel from BB to give it a little depth too if you wanted to try that. Just make sure you check your usage rates.

I’ve done quite a few of these with embeds, and it is possible to do it without totally disrupting, but it does change the flow some. I love this technique, I’m excited to see everyone’s goes at it.

Since they have now also bought MYOB, those shipping times have plummeted as well. Which is extra annoying as they were one of my very favorites.

I love lard! I use it in almost all my soaps! It’s true. Once you use lard you won’t go back. :)
