    Post your Gripe

I've been noticing a HUGE uptick in the orders claiming they shipped within 24 hours of me ordering, and then a day later I get a "revision" of the delivery date. I suspect it's so companies can claim they "ship all orders within X time" even though they really don't. UPS marks it as shipped...

What do you use to mix your Lye and Water?

I use the rubbermaid pitchers-nice and thick, and I get the oversized ones so I have plenty of room (saved my bacon when I made mountain dew soap and what a lye volcano!). Much cheaper than a doctor bill!

What do you love about a Hatchback ! pic included

I'm leasing one........just put 12 pieces of 2x4, 2 six foot reed fence things, and had plenty of room left. I don't like that theres no tiedowns so I have string around the license plate and another one around the lumber to the rearview wiper... but yes, yes I can get lumber home! Just not...

    Snake Skin Soap

Glad to see you went with the impression idea because urm....I have a snake and trust me, the skin is going to have fecal matter on it somewhere. Unless your friend knew the snake was going to shed within that day and gave it a disenfectant bath, and then bleached the tank, and then the snake...

Got this email today from AH/RE

RE just sent out a HUGE list of everything that IS affected and might be affected. It's pretty much every single scent. Looks like we'll be waiting.... and I'm hoping that someone uses their head and starts another manufacturing plant elsewhere. I had NO idea this one component was in...

    Any vet techs out there?

Awwwwww I'm sorry to hear about Abby! :( Here, have a hug! :bunny: Surgery is always risky in the small animals, but at least you tried something to help. It's always rough losing the big or small ones regardless, I've had hundreds of animals in my life and I still miss them-bleh! I might...

    HP lovers, please reply here

Hp'er here! CP just so messy to clean up (although I'm eying it more and more). A side note on the crockpots, mine have a "keep warm" setting. Lately I've been starting on high for a few minutes, dropping to low until I see something happening in the batter edges, then dropping it to Keep Warm...

Stick blender for Christmas!!! :) but there's a catch....

I will have to admit......this is my first "food" stickblender. I mostly plan on using the whisk attachment though (me and gravy don't get along even with the superfine specialty flour in the blue canister). One of my soap crockpots has now been relegated to the kitchen for...

Tea tree and pine tar for dry skin?

On me, pine tar soap really helps when I have irritated areas or troubled spots like elbows or when I've been in contact with something growing that my skin doesn't like, so it should help on dry skin....

PVC toy embed in CP soap trial

If you leave a tiny piece poking out it solves the visibility thing. When I was a kid I remember a soap with a sponge in the middle, you couldnn't see the sponge until you used the soap for a while-i was the cleanest kid on the block!

    What I'm thankful for

My health is good (knock on wood), I have a job I like, I have a few people who may not be able to help much but are willing to listen when I need to vent, I have a roof over my head, a reliable (knock on wood) vehicle, electricity, running water, air conditioning (very important), and food in...
