Should i consider the amount of preservative as 0.5% of the fat base only or 0.5% of “fat base + sugar”?

Thank you all so much for sharing your knowledge. I actually have never seen the batter separating and prefer to keep it like that. We do mix it enough so that it doesn’t separate apparently, so I definitely feel more comfortable now to make some designs. Tks again 🙏
