i Know. lol means, I'm joking. I also get up crazy early, I'm aware that most aren't up yet and have lives beyond this forum. So, with this recipe, I would reduce the CO and increase which other oils, in your opinion? Thanx in advance! All percentages.... 55 lard 20 coconut 10 olive oil 10 HO...

    Understanding Super Fat

My current understanding of SF is: 1) Super means Extra 2) SF means fat that has not been saponified. 3) 5% SF has more free un-saponified fat/oils than 3% So, why does my 30% coconut bar feel as dry as my 3% recipe on my hands? Do I have this correct??

    Angled straight line-first time

SMF November 2023 Challenge - Splash Swirl Technique

oh. Well. I just watched the lady on the video and did what she said to do. I did put the black on the bottom, cause I thought that would be easier. Just, down, move over, up, move over, down, etc. with my coat hanger. Maybe next time add a different color layer to the top would be cool too.

Saw a video on you tube for this technique. Super fun to do. Colors aren't exactly complementary in my eye, but still striking in person.

My largest project so far: 5.62 kilo (12.4 lbs.) double batch of soap batter

Blue Steel cryo strings I'm a guitar player and I use these strings. Haven't broken one since I switched to them in around 1993 (on my guitars). Prolly any cryo strings will be better than cheaper strings. Don't use "Super Slinky" or similar. Too much stretch.

Thank you. I saw these labels on here somewhere and ordered from Amazon. My son is a wiz with printing things. They stick pretty well, even on bars that are too fat to allow the label to stick to itself on the back.
