Rainbow Meadow Blending Calculator Gone. Now what?

I used this site all the time for ideas on different scent blends. I see they've taken this part of their site down and I'm not finding anything that even begins to compare. What are you all using as a blending calculator now?

    Made some beautiful soap but...

I have had that same problem when using plastic wrap and I read to use a piece of cardboard and towel to insulate instead. Either my cardboard was too flimsy or my towel made it sag or a combination of both. It's big chunks. I scraped it of the cardboard the best I could and pressed it back in...

    Made some beautiful soap but...

When I covered the mold, little did I know, the cover was touching the soap. I just went to peek at it and when I lifted up the cover, it pulled up chunks of soap with it. I'm taking this as a sign that I need to order up some roving wool and go ahead and felt up some of my soaps.

salvage fugly soap, Merino wool felting

I've been dying to try this and I think I'm going to finally give it a shot. How much roving wool is needed to cover, lets say, 10 bars of soap? I want to make sure I order enough but not too much. Thanks for inspiring me with this post!

    Seized Soap! Thoughts?

    Seized Soap! Thoughts?

After soaping for over a year, I just had my first batch seize. It's a tried and true recipe for me so the seizing came as a complete shock. 60% tallow 25% Coconut Oil 15% Olive Oil 5% Super Fat Half of my liquid was water & the other half was half & half. My lye solution was made...

My soap looks like it's stuck in gel phase

Sorry about that. It's a 6 pound batch.

My soap looks like it's stuck in gel phase

As you can tell by the subject line, I'm having a problem with my most recent batch of soap. I've used this recipe before and never had an issue. It came to trace as normal, but it seemed to take a bit longer to reach gel phase than I expected it to. Now, 2 days later, it still looks like...
